Day 1 Station 2: Biblical View of Homosexuality

To make a convincing argument that Homosexuality is sin according to the word of God
To answer common arguments against the Old and New Testament verses pertaining to homosexuality
- Old Testament: Many people accuse Christians of "picking and choosing" especially from Leviticus
- New Testament: Many say the Greek word used for homosexuality is a "bad translation" and should really be "pedagogy" or "paedophilia"
- To address "supporting the sin" according to Romans 1

"But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city" (Luke 10:12)
- The Lord is saying it will be more tolerable for Sodom than the city of the Samaritans that rejected Him; but the fact remains that Sodom will still be condemned. The comparison with Sodom also shows that Sodom is the worst shape (i.e. the one to compare against)

"And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all."
- The Lord does not mention "they married" or "they were given in marriage" in the days of Lot because these homosexual relations are rejected.
- God does not accept that their relationships be called marriage.

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Cor 6:9-11)
